Resilient Hope
As a specter is wandering the streets
Everyone has grown so timid
That they’re even afraid of whispers
Holding their own hands,
Deprived of the touch’s flavor,
They seem so bland…
Eyes see, Eyes ponder,
Human faces with love,
And then in a wave of fear,
Awaiting answered prayers,
That whatever sudden calamity may come,
It… shrinks and fades away,
And life triumphs over it in every way.
