Soulmate: When Soulmates Diverge, Read Here A Poem

In Pursuit of a Soulmate

Soulmate

Two souls, once entwined, now drift apart
A connection formed, but love’s true heart
Beats not in sync, a discordant rhyme
A dance of intimacy, without authentic design

The girl’s pure soul, a shining light
A beacon bright, in the dark of night
Yet, in the man’s arms, she finds no rest
A longing for more, a love unpossessed

The man’s desires, a conflicting tide
A physical need that cannot reside
With the girl’s deep heart, a love so true
A connection fractured, a love anew

In Rumi’s words, a love so divine
A soulful bond that transcends time
But here, in this tale, a love so flawed
A connection broken, a raw heart

Perhaps, one day, they’ll find their way
To a true love, a love that’s here to stay
But for now, they wander, lost and alone
Two souls, once entwined, now forever unknown.
