The Power of Winds
It is a symbolic poem reflecting on the destructive power of those in authority and the ensuing suffering of innocent people. It warns of hidden dangers and the potential for widespread fear and calamity caused by oppressive acts.
Oo, blazing flame
On the strength of the wind,
Understand the words of our grieved tongue
Instead of deciding any direction
Pay some attention to the opposing wind
These winds do not always break branches
Sometimes they uproot entire trees with their roots
If they grasp the ocean in their hands
They can distort the maps of the shores
Do not be so proud of your heat today
Tomorrow these clouds might bring storms along
Those hidden in the skies until now
May bring dark disasters and calamities
So that you too, like us, may yearn for mercy
Let such a fire not rain down from all sides
Astute minds may deceive every simple heart
And man may not step out of home for fear of man
