Science and Spirituality: A Cosmic Dialogue Beyond Time

We dwell upon the Earth,
Yet James Webb delivered a message from the eye of a star,
From a distance of fourteen billion years.
It has never seen me,
Nor did it witness
Father Adam or Mother Eve.
Yes, in the Milky Way galaxy,
Amid clouds of dust and gas,
A planet may be forming,
Alongside its nine other
Larger and smaller companions.
Life…
What is life?
Human…
Who is human?
James Webb, are you its creator? Or is it something else?
But what is it?
And who is it?
Is it trying to become God?
No, most still believe in God,
For the universe remains beyond their grasp.
After fourteen billion light-years….
When it sees me,
Will it have become God?
The star asked impatiently.
No, by then it will have perished,
For in the vastness of cosmic time,
It holds not even the life of a nano-second.
The star, which has lived and died
For fourteen billion years,
Upon hearing this,
Laughed so hard
That it exploded into a supernova,
Becoming the ancestor of millions of stars.
And as I stand on Earth,
When I look towards the Sun,
My eyes are blinded,
The Sun, the ancestor of my Earth,
Which is but a small child of the universe,
Is answerable to God on my behalf.
And I,
So fearless, so audacious, and so insolent
How terrifying!
