Why do your teary eyes wait?
That person is on the gallows,
But whose gallows,
Are they?
If we are parting,
Why wish for a union
With a prayer on your lips?
You know who holds power
Over prayers.
Did reason create the rift,
Or is it the chaos of the subconscious?
Who knows what causes the discord
Between us?
All the torments meant to be fall,
Have descended.
Yet who are we,
Waiting for the Day of Judgment?
Centuries have passed
Since abandoning desires,
Yet, why is this heart
Still restless for someone?
