Beginning
If we are to walk, let’s start from there,
As if we met for the first time.
Your eyes had the sparkle of stars,
And I too seemed restless for you.
You were ready for love,
I was intoxicated with it,
Companionship was the ultimate devotion,
So that every morning was mine, every evening yours,
We enjoyed countless moments of closeness.
I wished to shower every step of yours,
With the beautiful colors of life.
Compared to the dark clouds of your hair,
I would set aside the comforts of the world.
Your madness was just as intense,
My footsteps captured your attention.
Your lips, cheeks, and eyes, so desolate,
Would brighten up upon seeing my face.
Oh my innocent admirer, my companion,
If we are to start, let’s begin just like that.
