Ode to Earth
No satire can touch your soil,
No mocking words can soil your grace,
For every mountain, every tree,
Speaks of your timeless, gentle face.
From oceans deep to skies untold,
You cradle life in arms of gold,
Each dawn you paint with hues of fire,
Each night you calm with the stars’ desire.
You feed us, clothe us, quench our thirst,
In every bloom, in every burst,
Of nature’s dance, so pure, so grand,
A love that flows from your rich land.
Though men may tear and take and burn,
You heal, you rise, you still return.
No satire could describe your worth,
For all I see is praise for Earth.
