Mindfulness
In the stillness,
Of the present moment,
I breathe,
Pause and let go.
The world outside recedes, its din and noise,
As I step into the quiet, inner voice.
With mindful heart, I walk the path,
Attentive to each step, each breath.
The earth beneath my feet, a solid ground,
A sense of calm, a sense of being found.
In this space, I let thoughts arise,
Without judgment, without surprise.
Like clouds
Drifting across the sky,
They come, they go,
And pass me by.
With curiosity, I observe my mind,
Thoughts and emotions intertwined.
I watch, I learn,
Grow and see,
The beauty of the present, wild and free.
In mindfulness, I find my peace,
A sense of calm, a world to cease.
From the turmoil, I step aside,
Into the stillness,
Where love resides.
